چکیده
Metals are known for high ductility and have, been used to design fabricate structural components many years. However, composite materials taking over traditional owing their significant mechanical properties. Fiber-reinforced composites exhibit lower failure strain, resulting in brittle failure, limiting application where is desired. In this study, an effort has made design, fabricate, test continuous fiber-reinforced with improved ductility. A comparative analysis was performed optimizing the strain of different woven under both on-axis (0°/90°) off-axis (±45°) loading. The include carbon/epoxy, E-glass/epoxy, jute/epoxy composite. tests were according ASTM D3039 standard. strength all tested loading obtained from tensile results. But limited Interestingly, glass/epoxy showed by 90%, without much loss than jute fiber revealed conditions.

Statistical Analysis of the Progressive Failure Behavior for Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Composites under Tensile Loading
An analytical approach with the help of numerical simulations based on the equivalent constraint model (ECM) was proposed to investigate the progressive failure behavior of symmetric fiber-reinforced composite laminates damaged by transverse ply cracking. A fracture criterion was developed to describe the initiation and propagation of the transverse ply cracking. This work was also concerned wi...
متن کاملStudy on Mechanical Properties and Constitutive Equation of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites Under Static Loading
Abstract: The Quasi-static mechanical properties of hybrid fiber (steel fiber and Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber) reinforced cementitious composites (HFRCC(SP)) were investigated by compressive and tensile experiments. The compressive strength, peak strain, elastic modulus and tensile strength are studied as compared with that of engineered cementitious composite (ECC). Study results indicate th...
متن کاملEffect of off-axis concentrated loading on failure of curved brittle layer structures.
A study is made of the effects of superposed tangential force by off-axis indentation loading on curved bilayers consisting of brittle shells filled with polymer support material. Such loadings are pertinent to all-ceramic crown structures on tooth dentin in occlusal function. Layer flexure places the ceramic undersurfaces in tension, leading to fracture by initiation and propagation of radial ...
متن کاملModeling of Interphases in Fiber-Reinforced Composites Under Transverse Loading Using the Boundary Element Method
In this paper, interphases in unidirectional fiber-reinforced composites under transverse loading are modeled by an advanced boundary element method based on the elasticity theory. The interphases are regarded as elastic layers between the fiber and matrix, as opposed to the spring-like models in the boundary element method literature. Both cylinder and square unit cell models of the fiber-inte...
متن کاملEffect of Single Off-Axis Implant Placement on Abutment Screw Stability Under Lateral Loading.
PURPOSE The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of off-axis implant placement in relation to the prosthetic crown on abutment screw loosening under different directions of twisting moments. MATERIALS AND METHODS Twenty-one implant assemblies were divided equally into three groups (n = 7). Each assembly consisted of an internal-octagon implant measuring 4.1 × 12 mm (standard plus impl...
